Detail itinerary tours of Vietnam and Cambodia for tourists

Vietnam Cambodia is one of the attractive tourist destinations, attracting a large number of tourists today. If you want to discover the beauties here, don’t miss the article about tours of Vietnam and Cambodia below!

Who is suitable for this trip?

This trip requires lengthy travel, including an overnight train ride with modest shared amenities to see as much as possible.

Depending on where you are from, Vietnam’s climate may be hotter and more humid than you are accustomed to. Please consider if you’re appropriate for the time of year you want to vacation.

Given that we are visiting several places in a short period, some tourists find the pace of this trip to be rather quick. Consider a longer journey or extra days in Cambodia and Hanoi if you like a slower pace and more time to explore.

There are several long travel days (up to 10 hours on the road), both by private and public transportation, including the days we cross from Vietnam to Cambodia. Your leader and local guides will facilitate the border crossings, although patience is encouraged.

Our accommodations occasionally might not have constant hot water. However, most travelers don’t think this is a problem and are frequently eager to take a cool shower to relieve the heat.

Itinerary tours of Vietnam and Cambodia

Day 1: Hanoi

Before arriving at Hoan Kiem Lake, this optional excursion takes you to the Temple of Literature, a traditional tea house, and the Hoa Lo Prison Memorial. Or go at your leisure and explore the Old Quarter to take in the French colonial architecture of the area.

Day 2: Ha Long Bay

To make boarding and disembarking at Halong Bay easier, we advise bringing a small overnight bag. Your primary baggage can be stored in Hanoi overnight. Swimming and kayaking are only permitted in some areas of the bay.

The number of vessels allowed to anchor overnight in the bay is limited, which occasionally causes a scarcity. You may sometimes stay on a larger boat (with around 12 cabins) and share your boat with another group to ensure that all Intrepid travelers may enjoy the experience of a night on the sea.

Day 3: Hoi An

Hoi An was an important international commercial port throughout the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries and was recently named a World Heritage site. Parts of the immaculately maintained town still have the atmosphere of long ago.

It is renowned for its abundance of tailors and a shopping center. Upon arrival, your guide will conduct a sightseeing tour of the Old Town, stopping at a few of the most popular landmarks. A sightseeing permit will also be provided to continue exploring certain places at your leisure.

Rent a bike, ride past rice terraces to Cua Dai Beach, or perhaps stroll through the cobblestoned alleyways and art galleries. Explore the town’s marketplaces and historic Chinese shophouses for artwork, pottery, and vibrant fabric lanterns.

You may go to one of the many tailors and get something custom created if you desire a fresh appearance. Don’t forget to eat at a restaurant by the river or even take a cooking lesson while in Hoi An because the city is very well recognized for its delectable local cuisine.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City

Take advantage of a free day in Ho Chi Minh to explore the city at leisure. Climb inside the tunnels if you have the chance to consider what it was like to live, work, sleep, cook, and even attend school below while fighting raged above.

Return to Ho Chi Minh, where a welcoming gathering will be held at 6 o’clock to greet any new adventurers joining you. After that, attend an optional group supper to get to know your new traveling companions.

Day 5: Phnom Penh

Pass through rural Vietnam and Cambodia on a public bus before arriving in Phnom Penh (approximately 10 hours, including two border crossings and lunch). The Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers come together at a significant point in Cambodia’s capital, featuring some exquisite examples of French-inspired architecture.

If you’re in the mood for shopping or a nice drink upon arrival, stop by the art-deco Psar Thmei (Central Market) or venture out to Psar Tuol Tom Pong (the Russian Market) for the greatest selection of local items.
