1.How will I find my tour guide upon my arrival in Vietnam?
Normally, your travel adviser will check it with you before your departure to Vietnam. Your tour guide will wait for you at the exit of the airport / bus station / railway station you arrive at, with a pick-up board with your name. Therefore, please don’t worry about that.
2.What languages can your tour guides speak in Vietnam?
In Vietnam, English-speaking tour guides serve in almost every tourist city and guides who speak other languages are also are available, including French, Italian, German, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnam, Thai, Lao, Cambodian, etc. The tour guides are strictly selected and have received professional trainings, competent, conscientious, whole-hearted, considerate and accommodating.
3.Are tips for tour guides and drivers necessary in Vietnam? If so, how do I tip the tour guide, drivers, or hotel porters?
Generally, you can tip your tour guides, drivers and hotel porters if you feel satisfied with their worked and service, but it is not a common practice to tip restaurant waiters/waitresses or taxi drivers.
4.We are not native English speakers. Is it possible to have a tour guide that speaks our native language?
We will arrange tour guides as per your request if tour guides who can speak your language are available.
5.Is our tour guide the same during all the trip?
Commonly, we arrange local tour guides in every city during every Vietnam tour for two main reasons:
a. Local tour guides are usually much more familiar with their own cities than tour guides from other cities, and you can learn more local tourist information and culture from them. Moreover, they know how to deal with problems in their cities.
b. To save your tour cost. For example, if you want your guide in Hanoi fly to Danang with you, you will have to pay for all of the guide’s costs such as flight ticket, accommodation, meal and tip.
6.What happens if I get sick in Vietnam? Do you refund the tour I currently cannot do?
It depends on what disease you get. If that happens, we will do all we can do to help you with your treatment and settle the problem of refunding as per the terms and conditions of our company. What should be noticed is that, the cost of your hotels, flights, Halong Bay cruise and some other items are anticipated payment, which means these costs will not be refunded.
7.Can tour guides help me to do some shopping? What are the regulations to come back home after?
Yes, your tour guide can help you with shopping during your Vietnam tour, but it may be a problem if the kinds of stuff you buy need repair or go wrong after you return to your country. So it is suggested to confirm whether the brand you buy can be guaranteed to be repaired in your country.
8.Will the tour guide escort me to the airport/hotel?
Yes, we arrange a local tour guide to pick you up at the airport and escort you to your hotels when you arrive in every city in Vietnam, and the guide will also transfer you to the airport for your departure flight. But if you have ever been to Vietnam and prefer to arrange the transfers on your own, please inform us beforehand
8.Can I pay for my Vietnam tour through telephone instead of fax?
It is a pity that we can not take orders from our customers by telephone because we have to relay a formal Credit Card Authorization Form with the customers’ signatures to the Bank of Vietnam. You can scan the payment form and send it to us by e-mail, or fax it directly. Please attach a copy of both sides of your credit card, otherwise, we will have no right to charge money from your card.
If you do not have a fax machine or a scanning machine, you can also photograph both sides of your credit card with a digital camera and then email both sides to us with your signature.
10.Can I customize a Vietnam tour? Yes
11.How many people will be in my group?
It depends on your preference. We will arrange a private Vietnam tour for you if you prefer a private tour; but if you want to enjoy the trip with other tourists, we will arrange a group Vietnam tour for you, which can also save your tour cost.
12.Do children pay the same fare as adults?
According to the regulations of Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNTA), children who are 12 and over 12 years old should be charged as adults. Those who are less than 12 years old should be charged less in services and Vietnam domestic airfare than adults. For infants less than 2 years old will be free of charge, except for the airfare, which is 10% of the adult’s fare. But please NOTICE that children are 10 and over 10 years old are charged as adult in some cities such as Hanoi
13.How will I know if my reservation was accepted?
Once everything is confirmed, we will send a formal Confirmation Letter to you to confirm.
14.When will the deposit be charged to my credit card?
If you have satisfied with the itinerary and quotation we customized for you, please state in an email to confirm with us that you accept them. Then we will send you a “Credit Card Authorization Form” or account of “Wire Transfer” or “PayPal link” and “Western Union” for your initial deposit payment. But for some late reservations, we will not charge deposit from you until we can confirm the reservation for you.
15.When will I need to make final payment?
You should make the final payment 15 days prior to the departure date and you don’t need to fill in another Credit Card Authorization Form again. The balance and the date of the final payment have been authorized by you in the original form and we will not charge it before the appointed date.
