1.Can I use US dollars or credit cards in Vietnam?
Generally, the US dollar is not widely accepted while major international credit cards are commonly used in some hotels, restaurants and department stores in big cities of Vietnam, e.g. VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club. Vietnamese currency can be easily withdrawn from the ATMs of the Bank of Vietnam by credit cards, but a 4% commission is generally charged.
2.Where can I exchange my money for Vietnamese currency in Vietnam?
Foreign currency can be easily exchanged for Vietnamese currency at banks in Vietnam. Some hotels also provide their guests with the service of currency exchanging.
3.Is it easy to find an ATM in Vietnam?
ATMs are easily available in Vietnam especially in tourist cities, but it is usually not very easy to find one in remote area, so it is suggested to take along enough cash if you travel away from cities.
4.What are the images printed on the back of Chinese paper currency?
Nowadays, the fifth series of VND is the dominated currency used in Vietnam, of which the fronts of 500.000 Đồng, 200.000 Đồng, 100.000 Đồng , 50.000 Đồng, 20.000 Đồng and 10.000 Đồng vvvv are printed with a same head portrait of Ho Chi Minh. 5.How can I exchange my money?
Foreigners can exchange the cash of their country for VND at Bank of Vietnam and can also exchange foreign money through traveller’s checks and currency conversion at some banks and hotels in Vietnam. In addition, credit cards can be used in Vietnam as well.
6.What's the content of western breakfast and Vietnam breakfast?
Usually, a western breakfast consists of western-style buffet with juice, milk, eggs, sausage, bacon and bread, while a Vietnam one will include a number of hot dishes such as noodles, porridge, vegetables, cereals, and Vietnamese dim sum plates.
7.I have a special diet. How can I deal with the meals during the tours?
We will carefully arrange meals for you as per your special diet and will check them with you beforehand to ensure that all of the food during the tour is ok for you.
8.What time should I check in and check out of the hotel in Vietnam?
In general, the check-in time is 2 PM and the check-out time in 12 PM in hotels in Vietnam, but different hotels may have some difference in regulations, so it is suggested to confirm it before you book a hotel in Vietnam. Extra fees will be charged for late check-out or early check-in accordingly
9.Will Hotels in Vietnam ask for a deposit when I check in?
Yes. Commonly, a deposit is required when customers check in. The amount of deposit is diverse according to price rates and regulations of different hotels and the deposit will be returned to customers when they check out.
10.Can I upgrade my hotel room or add extra nights in Vietnam?
Yes, it is commonly ok if there are rooms available and extra handling fee would be charged for the upgrading. If it is in tourist peak season, changing a room will be more difficult.
11.I do not want to share a room with another traveler in my group. Can I ask for a single room?
Commonly, there are twin rooms, triple rooms, double rooms, and connecting rooms (for families with children) in most rated hotels in Vietnam. In consideration of our customers’ budget, we usually arrange twin rooms or triple rooms for single people. But it is also ok if you would like to share your room with nobody, and that means you have to pay full rate for your own room.
12.Do children pay the same fare as adults?
According to the regulations of Vietnam National Tourism Administration (VNTA), children who are 12 and over 12 years old should be charged as adults. Those who are less than 12 years old should be charged less in services and Vietnam domestic airfare than adults. For infants less than 2 years old will be free of charge, except for the airfare, which is 10% of the adult’s fare. But please NOTICE that children are 10 and over 10 years old are charged as adult in some cities such as Hanoi
13.How will I know if my reservation was accepted?
Once everything is confirmed, we will send a formal Confirmation Letter to you to confirm.
14.When will the deposit be charged to my credit card?
If you have satisfied with the itinerary and quotation we customized for you, please state in an email to confirm with us that you accept them. Then we will send you a “Credit Card Authorization Form” or account of “Wire Transfer” or “PayPal link” and “Western Union” for your initial deposit payment. But for some late reservations, we will not charge deposit from you until we can confirm the reservation for you.
15.When will I need to make final payment?
You should make the final payment 15 days prior to the departure date and you don’t need to fill in another Credit Card Authorization Form again. The balance and the date of the final payment have been authorized by you in the original form and we will not charge it before the appointed date.
