Policies

Deposit & Payment

• A deposit of 30% of the total tour price per person (plus bank charges) is required upon booking confirmation via credit card or bank transfer. For bookings under US$500, full payment is required.

• The balance must be paid at least 15 days prior to check-in, or settled in cash/credit card upon meeting in Hanoi.

• Payments can be processed securely via our SSL online system.

Refund & Cancellation (for FIT bookings)

• More than 15 days prior to check-in: No charge.

• 10–14 days prior to check-in: 50% of the total trip value charged.

• 4–9 days prior to check-in: 70% of the total trip value charged.

• Within 3 days before check-in or No-Show: 100% charged.

• All cancellations must be confirmed in writing by Vietnam Travel’s cruise specialist (via email or fax).

Child Policy

• One child under 5 years old stays free of charge when sharing the existing bed with two adults.

• Children aged 5–11 years:

  • Sharing a bed with adults: 75% of the adult rate per person.

  • Two children sharing a separate cabin: each child pays 75% of the adult rate per person.

Bad Weather Policy

In the event of weather disruptions, the cruise company may cancel or adjust services. Charges will apply as follows:

• Cancellation before 11:00 AM on cruise date: Full refund for the cruise package (transportation, if booked, will be charged).

• Cruise canceled, lunch served onboard (no cruising/overnight): US$20 per person.

• Cruise canceled, lunch and round-trip Hanoi–Halong transfer provided: US$20 per person + transportation fee.

• Day cruise (3–4 hours, lunch onboard): US$51 per person.

• Day cruise with round-trip Hanoi–Halong transfer: US$51 per person + transportation fee.

• For 3-day/2-night programs:

  • Complete 2-day/1-night cruise, returning before 10:00 AM on Day 2: 2-day/1-night package rate + transportation.

  • Complete 2-day/1-night cruise + day boat excursion until 5:00 PM on Day 2: 2-day/1-night rate + US$51 per person + transportation.

Other Policies

• Check-in time: From 12:30 PM. Check-out: By 11:00 AM.

• Extra guest charges may apply according to the cruise’s policy.

• Advance registration with full passenger details is mandatory. A valid passport is required at check-in; otherwise, boarding may be denied.

• A credit/debit card or cash deposit and government-issued ID are required upon check-in for incidental charges.

• Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

• Holiday surcharges apply for Christmas Eve (December 24), New Year’s Eve (December 31), and Vietnamese Lunar New Year: US$15 per person.

• Promotions and Early Bird offers are subject to specific booking conditions as notified separately.
