Policies

Deposit & Payment:

• A 30% deposit of the total tour price per person (plus any applicable bank fees) is required at the time of booking confirmation via credit card or bank transfer. For bookings under US$500, full payment is required.

• The remaining balance must be settled 15 days before check-in, or alternatively upon arrival in Hanoi by cash or credit card.

• Payment can be securely processed through our SSL-protected online payment system.

Refund & Cancellation:
Cancellation fees will be applied as follows:

• For 1 to 5 cabins:

  • Cancellation more than 15 days before check-in: No charge.

  • Cancellation between 14 to 10 days prior: 50% of the total cabin cost.

  • Cancellation between 9 to 3 days prior: 70% of the total cabin cost.

  • Cancellation within 3 days before check-in: 100% of the total amount.

  • No-shows: 100% charge.

• Cancellations must be sent in writing and confirmed by a Vietnam Travel cruise specialist (via email or fax).

Child Policy:

• One child under 6 years old stays free of charge when sharing an existing bed with one or two adults.

• Two children under 6 sharing a cabin with adults will be charged 75% of the adult rate for one additional bed.

• Children aged 6–11 sharing existing bedding with adults will be charged 75% of the adult rate (maximum one child per cabin).

• Children from 12 years old are charged at the adult rate.

Bad Weather Policy:
If bad weather affects cruise operations, the cruise company may cancel part or all services, with charges as follows:

• Cancellation before 11:00 AM on the cruise date: Full refund for the cruise package; transportation fees (if any) still apply.

• Cruise canceled but guests enjoy a lunch onboard (no cruise, no overnight stay): US$50 per person.

• Cruise canceled with lunch and round-trip transfers Hanoi – Got Ferry Pier: US$50 per person plus transportation cost.

• For 3-day/2-night cruises:

  • If completing a 2-day/1-night cruise and returning to port by 10:00 AM on Day 2: only 2-day/1-night rate plus transportation fees apply.

Other Policies:

• Check-in time: from 12:30 PM; Check-out: by 11:00 AM.

• Extra guest charges may apply, depending on the property’s policy.

• Advance registration is mandatory for all passengers with full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number, and visa expiry date. A valid passport must be presented at check-in. Failure to do so may result in boarding denial by port authorities.

• A valid credit/debit card or cash deposit and government-issued ID are required at check-in.

• Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

• Promotions or Early Bird offers come with specific booking conditions, which will be communicated separately by Vietnam Travel.
