Policies

Deposit & Payment:

• A deposit of 30% of the total tour price per person is required at the time of booking via credit card or bank transfer (bank fees apply). If the deposit amount is less than US$500, full payment is required.

• The remaining balance must be paid at least 15 days before check-in, or alternatively, can be settled in cash or by credit card upon meeting in Hanoi.

• All payments can be made through our secure online payment system (SSL certified).

Cancellation & Refund:

• For 1–3 cabins:

  • No charge for cancellations made 3 days or more before arrival.

  • 100% charge for cancellations made within 3 days of arrival.

  • 100% charge for no-shows.

• For 4–6 cabins:

  • No charge for cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival.

  • 50% charge for cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before arrival.

  • 100% charge for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.

  • 100% charge for no-shows.

• For 7 cabins or more:

  • No charge for cancellations made more than 45 days before arrival.

  • 25% charge for cancellations made between 45 and 31 days before arrival.

  • 50% charge for cancellations made between 30 and 21 days before arrival.

  • 75% charge for cancellations made between 20 and 10 days before arrival.

  • 100% charge for cancellations made within 10 days of arrival.

  • 100% charge for no-shows.

• Cancellation fees apply to each confirmed cabin cancelled.

• All cancellation requests must be sent in writing and confirmed by Vietnam Travel’s cruise specialist (email or fax).

Child Policy:

• Children aged 5–12 years old:

  • 2 days/1 night program: US$65 per child (sharing bed with parents).

  • 3 days/2 nights program: US$150 per child (sharing bed with parents).

• Extra bed surcharge:

  • US$25 for 2 days/1 night.

  • US$35 for 3 days/2 nights.

• Only one child under 5 years old and one child under 12 years old are allowed to share a cabin with parents.

• Children under 6 sharing their parents’ bed stay free of charge (FOC).

• Extra bed for a child aged 5–12 is charged at 40% of the double room rate.

• Single cabin rate applies if a child occupies a cabin alone.

• Baby cots are available free of charge upon request (subject to availability).

Other Important Policies:

• Check-in time: From 11:30 AM. Check-out time: By 10:30 AM.

• Extra guest charges may apply based on the property’s policy.

• Advance registration is mandatory, requiring full name, date of birth, nationality, gender, passport number, and visa expiration date for all guests. A valid passport must be presented at check-in. Boarding may be denied if documents are incomplete.

• A security deposit (cash, credit card, or debit card) and a government-issued ID/passport are required at check-in.

• Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

• Extra beds are available for adults at 50% of the double/twin cabin rate (subject to availability).

• Itineraries may change without prior notice depending on cruising conditions.

• Wi-Fi is available in the restaurant and bar area, but due to the geographical nature of Halong Bay, connection quality may be limited. We appreciate your understanding.
